HOLISTIC VOICE PRACTICE

Workshop in Voice, Sound & Inner Exploration

The voice is more than a means of expression.
It is vibration, breath, body and emotion — a pathway back to ourselves.

What happens when, instead of trying to explain what we feel, we allow it to find breath, sound and voice?

Holistic Voice Practice is an experiential series of voice and sound workshops, inspired primarily by the principles of the BAST Method (British Academy of Sound Therapy) and its approach to active and passive voice and sound practices.

In each session, we create a safe and supportive space to turn our attention towards something that is currently present in our lives — an emotion, an inner conflict, a transition, a recurring pattern, or simply something we feel may be standing in the way of our natural flow.

There is no need to analyse it or share the details verbally with the group.

Through body awareness, conscious breathing, therapeutic voice practices, vocal toning, sound and guided reflection, we explore how what we are experiencing manifests within us — as a physical sensation, an emotion, a thought or belief, an image, a sense of weight or tension, or even as silence.

Rather than immediately trying to change what is there, we first learn to listen to it.

What we explore

The practices are designed to support:

  • relaxation and nervous system regulation

  • stress and tension management

  • deeper connection with the body and breath

  • awareness of emotions and recurring inner patterns

  • vocal and emotional expression

  • a shift from intellectual processing into embodied experience

  • exploration of resistance and inner blocks

  • space for new perspectives and personal insights

  • presence, authentic expression and deeper connection with oneself

The intention is not to force something to disappear.

Instead, we create the conditions to meet what is present in a different way — to listen to what may exist beneath the tension, to allow the body to participate where words may not be enough, and to let the voice become a bridge between what we feel and what we are ready to express.

Rather than searching outside ourselves for an answer, we cultivate conditions for greater awareness, self-regulation and connection with our own inner resources.

What if you didn't have to explain what you feel?

What if you could first feel it.
Breathe with it.
Listen to it.
And finally, give it a voice.

You do not need to know how to sing.
You do not need to produce a “beautiful” sound.

Your voice, exactly as it is, is enough.

About Leonora

Leonora brings together art and holistic practices, creating a path of connection to the inner self through the human voice. Drawing from a wide and interdisciplinary background, she has developed a body of practices that explores the voice as a pathway to presence, self-awareness, emotional expression and reconnection with our deeper nature.

Her background includes studies in classical singing, opera, theatre, music and dance, alongside explorations of Butoh dance theatre, physical and ritual theatre, Aikido, Tai Chi, yoga, psychology and systemic constellations, amongst others.

Her journey has also led her to explore a broad range of holistic and therapeutic approaches, including Reiki, Theta Healing, Pranic Healing, Aura-Soma, the Alexander Technique and the Alfred Tomatis Method, as well as music therapy, sound therapy, voice therapy, breathwork, drama therapy, play therapy, crystal healing, hypnotherapy, chakra work and meditation.

Since 2009, Leonora has been following a personal path of self-exploration and healing through the arts and holistic practices.

In 2021, during the pandemic, she created her first complete solo stage work, Judith, bringing together holistic practices and the transformative potential of the operatic voice. The work opened a new direction in her artistic journey: an exploration of opera as ritual, embodied experience and a space for inner transformation.

Inspired by the ancient healing centres of Asclepius, where healing was approached holistically through the cultivation of harmony between body, psyche and spirit, Leonora understands healing as a process of deep remembrance — a return to something essential within ourselves.

Through what she describes as the path of the “healer / rememberer,” she continues to develop her own approach to reconnecting with the inner voice — the voice of the soul — and cultivating greater harmony between body, emotion and spirit.

Her work includes individual voice and sound sessions, practices for couples exploring the balance of yin and yang qualities, work with children, and group sound sessions combining voice and crystal singing bowls to create spaces for deep relaxation, inner listening and self-regulation.

Alongside her private practice in Greece and at her studio in Zurich, Leonora collaborates with wellness spaces, holistic centres, detox hotels and yoga studios, bringing voice and sound practices to a wider audience.

She also facilitates retreats, seminars and experiential workshops, inviting people to reconnect with their authentic voice, emotional world and inner self through sound, breath, embodiment and deep listening.
